How long can you freeze for?
Depends on your freezer! Most recommendations for casseroles is only 3 months, but I have an upright deep freezer and casseroles have been fine for 6 to 9 months. If you are able to eliminate air space, (say, pressing plastic wrap directly to the surface) it helps to prevent freezer burn, which is nothing more than oxidation.
Hmmm. We’ve a horizontal deep freeze too, so should give us plenty of time 🙂
