An easy way to cook this lovely green. It only takes a few minutes to prepare.
You will need:
2 tablespoons olive oil
2 cloves garlic, sliced
1/2 cup slivered onions
Saute these in a large, heavy skillet for a few minutes. Cook them to your desired degree of doneness. If you want them crunchy, don’t cook very long. If you want the onion flavor mellow and sweet, cook over low heat till translucent.
1 bunch rainbow chard, coarsely
1/2 bunch kale, coarsely chopped
Add chopped veggies to skillet.
Cover with a lid and let wilt.
1 to 2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar, cane vinegar, or balsamic vinegar
Season with a little salt and pepper, if desired.
