Here’s what I found at the Farmer’s Market today. The varieties offered have increased over the years.

Pumpkins are in at your local farmer’s market!

I made this last fall with fresh oranges and a pumpkin from my farmer’s market.  It was so good, that I’m looking forward to making it again.  I have roasted Hatch chiles in the freezer just waiting.  The pumpkins are in at my farmer’s market (so I’ve heard), and I’m heading there today.

I’m not sure where the inspiration for this came from.  All I know is that I wanted something different.  Something warm.  Something spicy.  So,  here you go.
